Well it's Friday it's not midnight and the sandwiches are made. I did have to call and beg assistance from my lovely neighbor-- I got lucky she was home, alone and was pleased to help out! I was SO grateful.
So - that job is done, Sandy and the baby are running late, the kitchen is clean and --- Bubba just asked what I was doing when he can hear the typing on the computer. I'm doing naked yoga - I'm on the freaking computer!
Things are looking up. Of course what I find amazing is that in the time my husband got home, he managed to take a phone call, get the mail, review every line of the mail received and get a pizza.
I got home, let the dogs out, fed the dogs, including filling up Shelby's bucket (BIG bag to more usable bucket) changed my clothes, took out my contacts, unloaded the dishwasher, loaded it back up again organized the dirty dishes into one sink to wash later (good knives etc.) got out the hard cooked eggs, peeled and chopped them. And Bubba read the mail.
He's still sitting in his work clothes. Whatever.
So I made the egg and tuna salad - discovered that the pricey white tuna doesn't go as far as the cheap stuff I use... live and learn but at this point its here eat this and kiss my grits. My fridge is full of sandwiches which I must then transfer tomorrow. There is also an important wardrobe decision to be made. I have to wear a skirt - but the one was going to wear is going to be too warm for the weather... so possible change of plans... we'll see. More than likely I will get lazy and just wear what I was going to wear and be done with it.
Also good news - Dad's procedure went well - I was a bit of worry-nelly yesterday but soldiered through i.e. too busy with work BS to think about it for long periods of time. As Pap made it through with a bit worse for wear - and he's still in the hospital not sure if he had an 'episode' or just post surgery issues... so one more day to be watched like a hawk and have his bodily fluids measured and examined... OH so glad I did not go into medicine. that and puking on people when they are already sick is probably really frowned upon - so geek it is!
On that lovely note - I'm going to sit while I can and wait for Baby M and her Mom... have a great weekend... more later.
