Just checking in, on a lovely Wednesday - remember Wednesdays are great because I don't have to drive anywhere to get to work... I'm home the pups are snuggled in and work is work.
Decorator is due here today at noon, why am I worried? Maybe because every time I've gotten excited about all this decorator stuff something has happened to suck the air out - usually his name is Bubba but we'll see. At least it will be done!! And I can get some other things done. And yes probably spend more money - after all I have it right? ;-)
Doctor visit was wonderfully quick, it was the dermatologist, here use this, check back in a month no worries. Don't you just love those quick hits? Frankly I sincerely hope I'm done with doctors for a bit - just tired of dealing with them. Watch me get sick.
The morning weather has been quiet, calm, there was morning wetness but then the sun came out - then all of a sudden all the trees are moving you can hear the wind - it was like early in a horror flick. You know everyone is sitting by the camp fire the cool kids are making out - wearing nothing but their underwear, their chubby geeky friends are cooking hot dogs then the forest goes quiet and the wind starts to blow through the trees..... AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

And the decorator just called, her handy man has an issue so we've rescheduled for tomorrow - oh dear two days at home. What will I do? Can you tell the boss is in Florida? Hey - I AM working! (unless I'm blogging) ;-) On the up side? I get to meet a friend of mine for lunch! Life ain't so bad! But now I've got to deal with hair and makeup - I figured I was going to be doing some heavy lifting, but now... oh dear... (people please I'll slap some stuff on my face so I don't scare the general public and pull a brush through my hair... life is entirely too short for that much fussing)
Ok Sports radio just mentioned something that I wanted to blather about on Monday... all this pink on my NFL football players. Pink, on 300 pound linemen, people please, oh sure a few QB's can get away with it - guys named Brady, Palmer or Manning come to mind but anyone on the defense please. Yeah yeah, support breast cancer its for a good cause but yeesh that was all a bit much. Football is a tough sport and all that pink was just a bit much... put the sticker on their helmet and be done with this I was starting to think I was drunk and seeing pink football players like dancing pink elephants... (you have to be a child of 70's Disney to get that)
Well this got longer than I expected, so I'm going to sign off and actually do some work before I have to meet up for my lunch date... :-)
