That will teach me.....

Oh sure making appointments, trying to have a life, what the heck was I thinking? Left work a bit early yesterday to the lady of the magic elixir that makes the undesirable color in my hair go away. (aka Miss Clairol). As I was making my way back to the wilds of Maryland I receive a message on my mobile nag aka the blackberry. Meeting regarding testing at 4:00 -- the moment I get into the chair.

SO! There I sit apologizing up and down to the very nice lady slathering goop into my hair, putting some in foil other just on my hair, as I sat there listening to the boss man bather on and then the big bomb hits - you guessed I'm headed back south. The fun part? After my gal was done slathering my hair, I was outside the hair salon, in my smock, goop in my hair, talking into my phone, making plans to get off a plane on Saturday - and get onto another one 3 days later. Yes you read that right - three days later. I called Bubba post hair getting done, warned him that this was coming, now as he's still on the West Coast and he hasn't really looked at his calendar it will dawn on him about mid-week that I'm gone for the first trip that I will be home for a mere 3 days then gone again for another 10.

My kitchen won't be used much this month, but the microwave will be. ;-)

This morning I'm making list upon list to see what I have to get done early, what I have to plan ahead for, and all the notes I am going to have to leave for Bubba so my house will run smoothly while I'm gone - or more like just handling details that Bubba just thinks magically happens. The dish fairy, the laundry fairy, etc. Its a life.

On the up side today is work from home day so I can get some running done and have several things less to worry about. And of course I have a list for that too... on the down side, its raining and promises to keep raining all day.. yeah. I had errands in the rain, slows everything down.

OMG. Give it about a week until Bubba starts complaining about things not being done around the house... i.e. I don't have the weeding done. sorry honey - I'm not ruining a manicure for that right now. Why don't you try it? ;-)
