A day off???

Well - yes as it didn't get started until 11:00 AM - oh I was up at 7:30 in the freaking AM my eyeballs popped opened and stayed in that state until I got up, let the dogs out, fed, and there we sat as I caught a Russell Crowe movie on the TV.  It made the hour a bit less painful  ;-)

Bubba managed to roll out of bed at 11:00 Am, and immediately began questioning ME as to what I had done all day... (and I quote) "enjoyed the peace and quiet"  Which of course he smirked and we began our day.  Bubba was determined that today "we" would clean out the garage... oh goodie could we?   It's humid its hot and the garage is filled with icky crawly things.  Yee haw.

We both had boxes from cleaned out offices - and since I'm on customer site I don't have the office space I am used to... so it came home, now another bag of books is headed into work, and a box full of reference manuals are now in the attic - never to be seen again apparently.   We were hot sweaty and gross, then the neighbor boy brought over the little black pup from next door, we get her overnight and into Sunday.  As the neighbors are off riding bikes in the southern part of the Maryland, and their boy is headed north to Slippery Rock University!!  Yeah that is right the old stomping grounds... of course I didn't stay in tents, again - I pause to mention my fondness for indoor plumbing - which I wonder where HE is staying that requires tents and potential (in my mind) for the lack of said indoor facilities... ewwww

Bubba has spent his day in the garage I have cleaned my kitchen finally, did laundry, did lunch, did some stuff on the computer, putzed on the computer, and now I blog on the computer - this weekend I have smartly not been in his direct line of sight and therefore I have looked busy!   See boys and girls old dogs can learn new tricks - or remember them when their opposites are presented to you.

So here I sit, fan a-blowing - dogs a-sleeping except for the little visitor... she's off wandering, now I'm off to goose Bubba into dinner out.. too hot and too lazy to cook.   Yes I am THE pampered princess... later.
