The last day of the week...

Finally we've made it to Friday, and even better I'm working from home... (see Wednesday). Pups are happily napping as the gentle breeze of the fan keeps the sweat at bay and I've been busy all morning working... right after I drove to Bubba's office and back. Let's start at the beginning shall we?

Hubby managed to drive himself into work for several reasons, not the least of which he's staying after school to play with his friends, which involve drinking a beer, enjoying a movie and maybe another post movie drink. No he won't drink and drive he's smart enough to know that move is beyond stupid. Anyway.... since he drove to work, he left via the garage door and not the front door as is our usual morning routine, as such his laptop and bag were sitting by the front door and was forgotten until he arrived at work and realized it was going to be a long day with just the blackberry all day... I got the phone call. The cranky, grumpy unhappy phone call and me being the Saint of suburban Maryland offered to drive down to his place of employment and drop off his computer. Didn't he just get all kinds of lucky I was up, showered and dressed when he called eh?

So thankfully it's Friday morning in the summer so traffic was light, I dropped off said computer and apparently Bubba had 30 minutes to think about just how mad I might be from cranky phone call and the offer to come and deliver his computer he was VERY nice when we met up. Apology accepted sweetie...

What I don't get is for such an anal attentive pain in the backside he manages to forget his COMPUTER! I've done it but I don't bring my laptop home every night (he does) plus mornings are not the best time of day for me.

Ok so new dress arrived from JC Penny, it fits but the zipper is close to impossible to work alone.. what would a person do if they lived alone? I got it zipped enough to make sure it fit in my problem fitting area... but I couldn't reach around to get it all the way up... I guess if I lived alone I wouldn't own clothes with zippers up the back. Of course new clothes are always a good reminder to stop stuffing things in my pie-hole that aren't good for me. Always easier said than done... but I've got to and fast!

I know me, I need a method of accountability to get me stick to things, so I've got to come up with a way to face a scale on an at least weekly basis. Then there is that whole exercise thing, I hate being the chubby chick in the back of the aerobics class , and the treadmill is boring. Of course I do have two big dogs who love to walk but unless its mid summer their walks generally don't break a sweat. I'll think on it today I've got to come up with a plan...
