Didn't have to wait long...

For Mr. Tightwad to make an appearance... he's seen the new shoes as I was wearing the new sandals yesterday and let the griping begin... yes, I spent money on shoes, yes I spent money on my hair and in 30 minutes I'm about to spend money on my nails.  Sue me, I hate my gray hair, I like my long nails and this is what it takes to keep them this way, and dag nabbit I work full time I should be able to buy a pair of shoes (or two) once or twice a year -- I'm a chick we require regular maintenance - and shoes.

He's not being overly cranky about it and there is a hint of sarcasm in there but we all know he is not happy - and in this case - not overly concerned there skippy.  So here we are at Sunday the final hours ticking away from my mini-vacation... and it has been good, we've got errands done, we've had pamper me time, we've had do nothing time and we've had some fun.  Frankly gang you can't ask for better than that!  Friday night was great - Bubba got home, early we headed out, great ride up, little traffic, we found a place to enjoy dinner, did so - parked outside the venue, yeah it cost us but we were out and on our way home quick and easy... totally worth it compared to the massive wait we had last time.   Not that Bubba remembers, and again easy peezy ride home and it was all good.  Great concert, and quite the show in the audience... apparently it was get the slutty girls drunk night.  There was one skinny blond honey who was basically using her boyfriend as a pole while she "enjoyed" the music - thanks honey sit your bony backside down and take the rest of that crap home... there was the semi-chubby chick who as we were walking out nearly flashed us and the rest of the world, thankfully she caught her south heading blouse before we really enjoyed an encore.

And frankly the moment of the concert happened as we were leaving... some chick actually asked my Bubba "hey you wanna come home with me tonight?"  Nope kid you not.  I was standing right behind him!!  Now she was no prize and Bubba claims not to have heard her but I did... and I'm sure the expression on my face was half way between "Hey Witch" - and "How much? - and would you bring him home later?"  ;-)   KIDDING... mostly.  I'm sure I got the are you kidding me face out first followed by - I don't think so sister.   Then I laughed - especially when Bubba claimed not to have heard said proposition... sure pumpkin.

Saturday started early then had a jolt as my phone reminded me that I had a hair appointment in 15 minutes and I was unshowered an in my jammies still... whoops - let me tell you a chubby chick can move her fanny when she's got to - I was up, showered, dressed, contacts, teeth brushed and out the door and only 3 minutes late.  Which worked out well as the hair dresser was 5 minutes late.  Whew.  But good color, nice trim, done.   Then laundry, bills, grocery store list, and various and other type busy stuff.

Had dinner home while the neighbors three doors down partied up - and we "enjoyed" their music even inside out closed up home... thumpa-thumpa-thump... 9:45 I called and politely asked my tax dollars to ask them to turn it down a bit - I personally thought 5 hours was enough of it being that freaking LOUD.  There is no need to blast music that freaking loud in a residential neighborhood.  I don't care about the parking and the rest - we all do that from time to time - but everyone else in the neighborhood manages to hold parties, weddings, and graduation parties without blasting out the rest of the freaking world.  It's all common courtesy - look it up dorkus.

All right signing off to get pretty nails and yes - spend more of Bubba's money plus he's working and wants the mouse, apparently his is on the fritz... it's a life isn't it?

Signing off from Pampered Princess Central... Aunt Ing...
