As I documented previously today was the company awards luncheon. This was a first in my world, a division of large nameless corporation actually giving something back to the lowly worker bees, lunch at a nice Italian Restaurant, an hour on the company, and today I learned your kudos read out to the entire group, AND - I found out after I got back to my office - a small BONUS! Like cash bonus!
Bubba should be very pleased - I just paid for my birthday present. ;-)
Today was busy as my days are want to be lately, but it's early yet and Bubba ain't home. I am going to send him back outside tonight - storm or no storm. He hit the satellite dish and screwed up the reception when he was outside playing with his toy -aka the power washer this past weekend. At this point I think it might be time to call in the pros, but he won't.
So I get to stand inside watching the TV, flipping channels and telling him GO - STOP etc. That boys and girls is life in married land, exciting isn't it??
We shared a brief moment together last night - then I decided that I wasn't going to stay up all night, and went to bed. I left sleeping lump this morning. I know we are the most exciting couple you've ever want to meet no??
I forgot to call Nana last night she had a computer issue - now she's off working traveling Nana. I will probably give her a jingle just to check in.
Didn't make it to call Nana - as Bubba arrived home in a 'mood' something at work apparently... like I care. Leave it at work and don't drag it in here. So he's grumpy and of course some how its my fault. So he's got his computer open and I have mine, plus we're sitting here watching high brow TV, Pawn Stars. It appeals to Bubba the Arab trader.... it works on several levels.
Another quiet night on the 'burb front... life doesn't get much more exciting than this does it boys and girls??
