Day 2...

Not nearly as exciting as the first day of the year but boy howdy will I take it. Up moving, breakfast, grocery store and done. Now as I had Bubba with me the grocery store trip was a bit longer than usual - as we must "shop" and when you find only one of something you must search for another 15 minutes to find "something else".

People I can't make this stuff up. I needed barely to make soup - we found one box, one brand and that boys and girls was that. But did we simply buy that box and move on with our day? Of course not we had to "shop" in case there was another brand (i.e. cheaper price) Didn't find one had less than zero interest in looking - unlike others.

So that done, home, football (beat those brownies!) put away Christmas decorations with some help from Bubba put together soup - now getting down to Zero hour dinner, change out to do some ladies group stuff then... up way to freaking early.

Now small rant - I announce dinner in 10 minutes apparently in Bubba-speak that means come and "help" cook the meal. What does this mean? The broth is too thin, how did you make the biscuits - I might have a soup recipe from the lodge (like that would be helpful now) and finally I snap - "You cannot come in and cook at the 11th hour" He pours himself a soda-pop and leaves my kitchen. I thicken up the soup, let it cook, set the timer, blog and move on about my day...

Day 2 of 2011 so much like the 365 of 2010.

I would ask for some variety but I know for a fact God has a wicked sense of humor and he'd show me all right. So taking what I know and enjoying technology.
