It's a cold..

Live with it - so boiled down my doctor appointment... yeah... Bubba was bummed at that news as apparently it's not easy to sleep with a person with a cold... tough it out old boy.

Its Wednesday but I am NOT home - I was hoping as there was ice predicted last night but alas it is just rain... I am working from home Friday so I can get all dolled up for the party Friday night. Now normally I don't go to the Nameless Corporation Mega Holiday Party but several co-workers are going and I like them - so off we go. In VA on a Friday night by 6:00 PM - oh yeah this should be fun.

I have made myself a list of things I must finish today...at work. The AT home list is longer - always is.

Got the Christmas cards done last night - I made Bubba help me. He licked envelopes and put on the stamps - trust me that was enough. Plus he could do it without having to break the TV trance; again it's the little things that make marriage work.

Let me give you another example that happened by shear dumb luck, Thursday Bubba is going out with the big boss so he will be home late. Perfect, I've got to get to work oober early - I will be home early, hair appointment, and I've agreed to help with the Lodge dinner. He's not home there is no argument - life - is - good.

Now I won't mention nodding off at the dinner but hey - beggers can't be choosers now can we?

Next on my list is photographer for family pics Merry Christmas Mom and Dad. Now herding this crew of cats known as my family will prove to be a bigger PITA. I'm thinking later morning will work best as little ones tend to conk out post lunch, plus there is that sporting event in the afternoon - not that I have any interest in it... but I think Bubba and a few other men might get cranky if I schedule pictures for 1:00 pm Sunday. I will contact family members and force agreement and move on from there... oh add to list - invasion at Nana's part 2. Bubba won't be happy we're doing the food after all this is my dumb idea - oh he can get over it.

Oh hey - there is a work related thing here... sheesh really.

Ok off to finish my list - craft another for home and move on to my day...
