Almost... there....

Almost - almost to the weekend! Shhhh!!! Do not want to shake the computer gods that will smite your hard drive or mother board just to screw with a weekend. Trust me. Yesterday was so dead we thought about holding a seance to see if we could contact the team. (har har har)

I did have things to do and did get things done, so it was good, just way too quiet. I'll remember that when I'm on a deadline with 6 things to deal with and the email keeps coming and coming and coming. For now we will enjoy the calm before the storm.

Bubba is off at work with promises of arriving home before midnight, and he keeps calling with things for me to do. I keep reminding him I too an working this morning and have things of my own to complete. And -- darling husband I do not need reminded of who and what to pack... I will be packed ready and waiting on your happy fanny - all without your prompting. Trust me. The only person I don't pack for - is you.

I have a number of errands to run today, but they shouldn't take too long, then home, take care of any issues and generally be ready to go well before Bubba promises to be home... of course he could surprise me and actually get home when he said he will... and Shelby is going to talk to me about her thoughts on life and kibble.

I won't post this weekend unless I have time Saturday - we are going to enjoy some in the woods time and time with Baby M.. .can't wait to see her again. She's fun. Hopefully Bubba will find some happiness this weekend - its family and more family and that generally doesn't make for happy Bubba... but at least I will come back with some fun stories - or I could just say... unreal Bubba was happy, enjoyed his weekend - and I drove since I was the one who kept spiking his drinks... (no not really)

Now to figure out how to get a manicure before I leave today...
