Checked the calendar...

I was up and out the door early early today and when I stepped outside my hair when 'boing!" because is was HUMID! I did check the calendar yeah late September - but it feels like mid-freaking-August. Holy cow. So me and my frizzy hair are now at work and enjoying the joys that is air conditioning... it will be 50 degrees tomorrow I swear.

And you also know that early mornings are not your time of day when you can't figure out which temperature to set your windshield defroster so you can see where you are going. I rolled down the windows - and we enjoyed wind-blown-frizzy hair. It's a look-- not a good one but a look.

Last night we did our first doggie teeth brushing... it wasn't as bad as I expected it to be, but it was an act of frustration. You hold your dog's mouth open, brush their teeth while they are trying to eat the tooth paste - which is 'beef flavored' and smells like -- words are failing me. Its light brown, and has a slightly meaty smell with a hit of something not exactly pleasant. But we did it - got the big k-9's and the little guys in front and tried desperately to get the ones in back...

Shelby wasn't thrilled but let me at least get things brushed, Violet apparently likes the taste of the paste so she kept trying to lick the tooth brush before I could get to her teeth. thank goodness we don't have a video camera that would be a you-tube posting all too quickly-- although I'm sure someone has something similar up there already. And no I'm going to look.

Today is Thursday thank goodness but the weekend holds tree trimming with the hubby - a project that I dislike with intensity as I must stand around and watch him trim the bushes in order to count in the book of Bubba that I am "doing something". Now he could have done it last weekend while I was basking in the beach-y goodness but then he would have had to clean up alone. He hates that part - of course he does that's the real work - the use of power tools is fun- for him. Me I've got the cell phone pre-programmed to 911 as he swings the power trimmer on the ladder, over his head and banging against my house. Next year - next year I'm hiring out to get rid of those bushes. Stay tuned for that fight.

Steelers football on Sunday against the Bungles... you boys lose this game I will not be responsible for my words if you do. Shut up Chad 85 and move on.

Oh and the G-20 is in Pittsburgh for the next couple of days I want one of those diplomats to try and translate a true yinzer to someone who's English is their second language. LOL I have no word to translate 'en nat' - I do not understand where is this dantown? I thought the football team was spelled with 'e' not an "i".

Security alert!! He's asking for a gumband - what is this?? Red alert! LOL

** ok now to translate downtown to a yinzer has a 'au' sound to it.
en nat is similar to 'and that'
the football team is pronounced 'Stillers'
and a gumband = rubber band to the rest of the world.

On a slow day I will compile a complete yinzer to English dictionary... or not.
Later en nat! -- spell check is about to explode... ;-)
