They moved my Steeler game to 4:15 which for us worked out very well...
Let me start with the whys with yesterday's goings on...
First we hit Goodwill for our 80's party, while Bubba did make purchases he wore neither to the party - I on the other hand got lucky, shoes just a bit too big (made just right with paper towels stuffed in the toe) a denim skirt, and a big baggy top I cut up to give it that off the shoulder look. Match with some tights from the Wal-Mart and a workout shirt underneath and I was sporting a look. I did feather the hair - not easy to achieve without a curling iron but wet hair, a small round brush and a hot hair drier and had the flip. Until about midnight when the rain and the sweat had it less a flip and more of a droop. Now I know what caused the hole in the ozone layer - it was that hair style, 600 pounds of hair spray just so it stayed in place yeesh.
Say what you will - we did have some good music - dancing under the tent, because it rained like mad and mud flipping everywhere. Still a good time was had by all. The fun thing about these friends are one works in local TV news so you got to see a few faces you see on the TV. They turn out to be very nice people, skinny but nice.
I drove home, which will tell you Bubba and his buddy enjoyed the bar-- good thing he's a happy drunk, repetitive but happy. I poured him into bed about 1AM, for him it was head, pillow, snore about that quick. This morning he's not moving quick but he's moving and we had breakfast out now he's happily in his chair waiting for Steelers to start. Remember the warning boys and girls - they lose to the bungles and Aunt Ing will not a happy camper be. And from the sounds it's not starting well... I may drink today.
Which brings us back to why the shift to a 4:15 start worked so well... when Mr. Happy finally awoke this AM and got moving it was 12 noon when we had 'breakfast'. So we've have time to enjoy said breakfast, Bubba got a hair cut (which may or may not have been painful) and I did a big grocery shop coupons and everything... I have more frozen foods than I care to think about. And now we go and chant something to send good vibes to the Steelers and hope like heck they can find an offense and the freaking end zone...
More Monday.... maybe.
