Yikes my morning and most of the day has just zipped by.... first brought up the work computer, go on line, saw there were no fires burning and then proceeded to my first appointment of the day...
My very first mammogram. Now I will say it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be but there are a few times I thought this woman was going to ask me to kiss the top of the darn machine. "Ok put this up here - shift right - head left wrap your arm around your head and cling with the other to this handle made for a woman with freakishly long arms" And being the busty babe that I am looking down and seeing all that up on a million dollar serving platter was a bit much. Of course it begs the question what do the girls do who have little ones? I mean - me it was flop-squish-and done. Frankly if that is the worst medical procedure I have to suffer through over the next couple of years Aunt Ing will be a very happy camper.
Then it was off to the Vet. Hound dog was due for her annual payment - ah - shots and stuff. She has a mass that the Vet said needs to come off - he must have a boat payment due. ;-) And we'll get her teeth cleaned but we'll keep that on the QT as that drives the Bubba nuts that the dogs have to have their teeth done almost yearly. I did get a doggie tooth brushing lesson, thankfully Hound dog was not as opposed to getting her teeth brushed as she is getting those nails trimmed. I can't wait to make a teeth brushing part of the nightly ritual.
Since her morning was so busy the hound dog is happily sleeping with of course one ear over her eyes... doggie sleep mask.
Shelby is also sleeping, but I think she's dreaming as we have paw movement and quiet barks... yeah my dog talks in her sleep. LOL
Been back and forth with some folks at work, things are currently quiet but this has struck me funny. A co-worker had a cold last week and she smartly stayed home and when she felt better she made her way into work. Now she's still got the nose running and sounds like Aunt Bula with her 6 pack a day habit but she said she feels fine. My conclusion is she's fine, and no longer in a 'sharing' mood, and she's doing her thing. But apparently some ninny wasn't happy that said co-worker was in the office and tattled to the boss and now said co-worker is working from home until she sounds healthy. I wonder how long do I have to hack and cough before the same germ-a-phob before I get to work from home too. I really do feel it coming on, hack, cough, snort, sneeze.
Now which office do I need to haunt tomorrow... ;-)
