Happy Valentine's Day....

For today we have found a new theme that doesn't involve stuff falling from the sky that I must then move from point A to point B... that apparently will return some time Monday evening.

First it is Sunday perhaps my favorite day of the week, Bubba this morning was up and out the door before I had the chance to say good morning or is this ALL the laundry? He said he had a few errands to run, which he did, returned home baring flowers, roses and daisies what more could a girl ask for... (yeah I know but hey). We went out to lunch, enjoyed our favorite cream of crab soup, shared a sandwich and then went home. Where I did (am doing) laundry, Bubba was enjoying his hockey game until the shoot out and now is watching some movie I'm sure I'd never watch and here I am on the computer.

I go some Girl's group stuff done, managed to wangle numbers so kids who's dads have been un or under employed for the better part of months will only have to come up with $25 to go instead of the usual $230. AND if the book sale had gone better it would have been less - everyone was at the grocery store. Now let's all cross our fingers that the lady who said she was going help out doesn't croak at the $250 bucks I have to come begging to her for... hey where there is a will there is a way and I'll find it.

Now for those of you reading this and saying - but Aunt Ing where are the hearts and flowers and all the romance of 20 years of wedded bliss - apparently you've been reading the wrong blog. This is life boys and girls... and frankly, that is 20 years of wedded bliss... nice enough to remember flowers and run out the morning of and get them, nice enough to remember daisies are among my favs.. and taking me where I wanted to go for lunch. We'll do something quiet at home, and it will all be good - plus it's a school night and we're old. ;-) That is when you have been with someone for this long - we get each other and it's the basic simple things that mean more - oh sure diamonds would have been very nice - but it's so not the man I married. Diamonds are a Christmas thing... ;-)

The sun is still shining we have melting and the pups are venturing on top of the mound of snow in the back yard as they are tired of the same 2X2 patch of grass that has been dug out... fine by me, but we do have to watch Shelby and that boo-boo elbow. She's hanging in there.

I love Sundays... they are quiet... after the laundry is done.

Remember someone you love today be they near or far, call write or whisper to the wind and if you can hug someone close.

Much Love and Happy Valentine's Day...
