Ok so here is my life today....
1) Girl's group coordination for big state wide weekend.. this weekend.
2) 4 new girls going
3) Usual adults aren't
4) I'm leaving home at 3:15 AM for Huntsville Alabama
5) Of course Bubba isn't home
6) Leaving my babies alone - with the sitter
7) Had to cancel my hair appointment...
On the up side, missing the big state wide weekend with the girls... (I like the kids hate the meeting), won't have to worry about Saturday travel time - I'll be home, and I look good to the boss... for now.. ;-)
Still too many downsides... I foresee some major snafu at the girls group weekend - and it will be all my fault - even though I'm another time zone away.
So.... the boss pulled the trigger today at 12 noon - "we need you here" oh goodie. Got with the gal and got the travel rolling, got the ride to the airport handled, cancelled my hair appointment for tomorrow (that hurt my feelings), call the girl about taking care of the dogs, multiple emails to Rainbow girls, Rainbow parents, and others dancing about in a fit of good fun to make sure things are covered... now I'm off to practice for the ONE thing I'm making Saturday, then home, kitchen, pack, make the bed, and make sure things are tended to before leaving the puppies at OMG in the morning.
I've got a headache to beat the band and all I want to do is sleep - I'll do that about 3:00 Pm tomorrow. Stay tuned for tales from the road - just got my 3AM pick up call... welcome to heck.
