A little Therapy and a little funny...

First the therapy... picture it Germantown, a blank word document...gently the fingers hit the keyboard....

Dear Niece Ay..

Congratulations (wait - highlight, right click synonyms... nice one --no, well done - no, commiserations - hey - oh no antonym... stick with the first word.)

Congratulations on your newest bundle of joy (yeah that works - sounds better than popping out another one...)

I wanted to send you a note to let you know Uncle Bubba and I (mostly I because Uncle Bubba lives in his own bubble of work and more work and when it come to family matters - especially his own he's clueless)

wanted to let you know you are in our thoughts and wish you
(would get your GED, and would accept some help - but no one wants to hear from us... ) all the best with baby Addison and Joe and the person with whom you are now living whose name I've since forgotten since Christmas..

And I am a big fat phony. Having hemmed and ha'ed about this note for a card I have yet to buy I will have to debate and waffle a bit more. Stay tuned - or not my moods are bouncing - could make for some interesting posts....

The little funny came earlier today -when Hound dog Violet developed a strange tick today. I left this morning for my right-y followup mammogram. That's right - just one in the shape of well frankly Sponge Bob Square pants - except for the color and the shorts. (Just don't go there)

ANY way... came home let out the pups - its a lovely warming sun filled day and I know Shelby will stay outside on full alert for every person, leaf and branch that makes a noise (bark bark bark) Now Violet having been outside decided to come back inside as she is want to do to sleep on her comfy blanket but today she was torn and probably wanted to sleep in the sun. Who can blame her - I gave it a passing thought. To continue, my hound dog is standing at the OPEN back door unable to go outside. I heard her whining and crying in that hound dog way and thought maybe something was wrong -it isn't always as she does this when moving blankets around too (No I don't know why it's her thing) ... So I go to the laundry room and there stands Violet on the throw rug whining like she wants to go outside so I open the door more - I point, I say all the stupid dog things and still she stands there. So I get down a dog towel and cover the last 12 inches of non-carpeted floor and still she stands there. Finally I take her by the collar and drag her outside! Now that she is out - her tail is wagging she running around! I don't get it.

Again Violet follows Shelby back into the house, Shelby on her alert outside status must check in periodically to let me know she's there - in case I don't hear her barking and to make sure I'm still in my spot. Well Shelby goes back outside - Violet starts the whining and crying thing again. I wait - and I've got things to do. Violet runs in to see me, I hear her run upstairs, she runs back downstairs, she stands at the OPEN door and whines, but she won't go outside! I don't know what the issue suddenly is but this pampered pup now has a door phobia. Oh goodie. I can just see me at 7:00 AM trying to drag this dog outside to go pee... what fun this will be.

Hopefully a full bladder will overwhelm the door phobia. Cross your fingers.

All right I'm signing off for the day and wondering what I could possibly make for dinner, because I really want lo mien. Screw it I'm ordering in.
