Where did THIS day go?

I know where it went I slept most of it away... our day started at midnight - but inside of the detailed study of my internal eyelids... my eyes were awake, my tummy unhappy and it spent all night telling via acid message - as in think you're going to lay down and get some sleep -oh no sister watch this and the burn would churn and I would be sitting up again. This went on into the wee-wee hours of the morning so when the alarm went off - I did get up - felt REALLY poopy and went back to bed (post puppy ritual of course) then reopened my eyes at 10:55 in the AM... so I dialed into my staff meeting in my Jammie's. Thank goodness we don't' have camera phones - I would have SO blocked that video feed!

But with a cup of tea, a vertical position and 600 pounds of Tums later I was up and moving. And productive - dropped off something forgotten, got my car's emissions checked, had my 6 month dentist appointment, got fabric for a Rainbow project quilt, mailed out birthday, Easter and just because stuff. Went to Wal-Mart for the Rainbow girls and now have come home to die because I'm still running at 3/4 speed.

I am also waiting to hear if I am going to jump a plane this week and head south - I would like more than 15 minutes warning but I fear that is all I am going to get. We shall see, I have the dog watcher on stand by everyone else has been warned of the possible FUBAR to my weekend and tonight I'm going to wrangle Rainbow girls into the straight and narrow if I have to beat them to do it... (no not literally - even though it would help - I still can't their such whiners) ;-)

I was hoping to find a Rainbow service on the Internet, but alas that apparently is some well kept secret (not the secret work - just a thing I had seen done... any who...) Apparently not everything is on the Internet or I just couldn't find it. Probably tucked away in a secret corner under the title, "don't post this".... and I'm wandering.

Bubba called last night apparently the boy has had too much time to think he talked in great length and in great detail on all matters home, financial, and on and on... I quit listening after a bit he started to lose me with talk of interest rates, tax deductions and other such accounting kind of things. But hey it was conversation - something lacking in my world these days... there will be plenty of talking with the girls tonight.

Stay tuned I may document my annals of teenage wo-is-me... or not.

Oh yeah - things much less entertaining sans Bubba at home... hold tight he'll be back this weekend.
