Relax... it was minor

The garage door that is... I called Bubba admonished him to return to his home (if he remembered the location) before the darkness enveloped the garage and he'd be attempting any repairs in said darkened condition. Oh he returned home as I was in the laundry room with the washer filling with water, the drying going he standing in the doorway of the garage (up one level) yelling for me... oh I heard him - sort of but I'll be darned if I was going to respond! We've had THIS lesson again and again - when in the magic laundry room I can't hear you over the rushing of water and tumbling of clothes. You'd think by now he'd learn.

So he finally gives up and comes and finds me, all "happy" as you can imagine. They he says was the garage door doing this? He hits the button - it acts as it had. I say yes, he goes and moves some little box, and said, You knocked this off it needs that connection to close. And then he made some disparaging remark about my intelligence and I shrugged. Basically there is a little black box on either side of the garage door and when red doesn't see green or vice versa the door doesn't close. Now in all the years we've lived there that has never happened and frankly I never really thought about the little boxes... heck I didn't even know they came off! But he puts it back in it's happy little place and wha-la fixed door. Aren't we all kinds of excited about it.

Then of course we are now home with oober cranky Bubba who sets up his computer in the room with the TV then tries to complain about the watching selections... oh no dear you're working deal with it. I'm not watching crap on a 12X12 box while you try to figure out how to do 2 things at once and fail at both. Oh so not happening.

To finish up the night I feed him, we go to bed I get up WAY to early. Deal with my day from haties and now I'm home realizing I forgot to get a gift for a Ladies group member who's getting a new dog.. so I can't change I have to bring my dress and go to the Walmart before I go to my meeting. Sheesh what a day. Oh and did I mention I still have stuff due that I'm going to have to finish tonight? This working for a living foolishness has GOT to go. My entire week is focused on getting to the end of it... and hoping like heck I know my part for Mom... really have to finish that. ;-)
