Life is good. First the weather - sun, warm, gentle breeze, lovely. Second it's work from home day third, just got back from the hair salon... gonna wash that grey right outta my hair.... and it's ALL gone and it's cut and styled and just lovely. Aunt Ing is very happy. Her puppy babies are happy (and outside in the sunshine) Bubba is at work - and probably not happy about it. In fact I know he's not happy about it. He laid in bed this very morning and said "I don't want to go work today." Poor Bubba.
He got home at 10:00 PM last night - and for his trouble? He got a speeding ticket on his way home. He admitted he just wasn't paying attention and got nailed. Makes you feel bad doesn't it? So I fed him, let him do his thing with the TV and then we went to bed. It's a lifestyle isn't it? ;-)
OH - and the big mystery of the missing co-worker yesterday. Total bust. He emailed everyone but with his email trouble no one got it... whoops. And totally no fun. But he's all right and the great office caper is a bust. Oh my do I need a life. LOL
So I've got a stack of work and non work stuff to deal with AND I want to be done by 7:00 Pm including having dinner cooked and ready for the Caps Vs. the Pens... don't disappoint me boys. I am not going to work and read through all the emails that poke fun at me and my team I got to play "We are the Champions" after you all won the cup - don't make me wear red!! I've got my jersey on! (post hair salon - too many chemicals to risk it). SCORE SID SCORE - get moving - DEFENSE beat Ovie beat those CAPS - P-E-N-S PENS PENS PENS...
There are a LOT of us yinzers daun here n'nat boys* - a pissed off half drunk yinzer in an opposing stadium is not a pretty sight. Get your stuff together boys or I'm coming up there and beat some sense into you. I need something to hold on to right now - you keep screwing up and I can't guarantee the safety of Alabama code jockeys if you boys don't start winning and doing it with some grunt. I need my fix.
AND don't get me started on this Com-crap DirectTV whizzing contest and why I can't see Versus with all my hockey games. It's bubbling at house boys and girls, we need a win, we need the end of "Investigation continuing in Georgia" I need hitting and scoring. (IN AN PROFESSIONAL SPORT-- really people please.)
And apparently I need to switch to decaf. (cleansing breath) OK - going back to the zen like state of sun shining, puppies sleeping in the sun and working at home. Life is good, and you can't beat that with a stick. (even my signed Mario Lemieux hockey stick... and there I go again)
Going to play with the pups - and a little zen. :-)
*yinzer to English translation: a lot of us guys and gals down here in the DC metro area and all that...
