Busy day...

As I didn't get anything done last night on my way home; thanks to mother nature's little thunder storm fit just as I pulled out the parking garage... I've got a busy day ahead of me.

First, Bubba has come and gone again. He lingered as Shelby gave him full force puppy eyes... she got extra love. Relax dog he'll be home tomorrow. And no I haven't told him about the piece yet... he did ask where the stuff in the curio was -- in the basement. IT IS!! (Why ruin his weekend?) That broken piece will be on it's way to Philadelphia in about an hour. Say a prayer it arrives in-- well the 3 pieces I'm sending up there-- and no more! Please god.

That is the first stop, then to the paint store to find the right color for my living room and ship it off to the painter... then Violet needs food - this is the week she eats regular and if she wants dinner Mommy better get her fanny to the pet store. Then I tackle the kitchen move the stuff I can get it out of the way. After another shower I'm sure - I am meeting my friend Gigs so we can enjoy a spirited contest between two sets of large men trying to beat the living devil out of each other... What contest you ask? Football skippy - pay attention. ;-)

My dear friend would rather go to the beach with Hurricane Bill than a pre-season football game (she has season tickets - she goes to ALL the others). So for the price of arranging a meet with her Mom to get the tickets, me and Gigs are off on another adventure to Fed Ex Field, for some good natured yelling and screaming. I love football - hockey is better for stress relief fewer committee meetings more action. But I do love my football.

OK so I'm done with our on-line portion of my day... now to chant prayers as I box up that piece, drive to the UPS store and watch them gently pack that piece into at least 3 inches of ghost-poopie (aka packing peanuts) ... and I wait... and wait... and confess my sins Monday - maybe Sunday depends upon how peppy Bubba is when he gets home. Pray for me.
