I cracked myself up...

I have written previously of the mysterious dirty glass in a clean sink syndrome that occurs in my house... now with painters coming tomorrow the kitchen is very clean, dishes done etc. I got up this morning and found a glass in the sink and started to laugh - Bubba wanted in on the joke. What could I say? I just shook my head and said, "thought of something funny."

Now the other part of that story is with said painters coming and the house completely torn apart - you'd think I would have found his stash at least one or two glasses he had tucked away right? Nope - not a one, the boy is good.

Helpful he is not. Last night was the final push to get things ready for the painters - this was the last 5% that needed to be done and frankly it was the most difficult and the most stressful. Why do you ask? One hint - his name - Bubba. Just move it dear I don't need all this bitching and whining... you have to move your furniture because if Mr. Painter Man does and something happens it's his backside - so they don't move other people's stuff. I get it - why don't you.... Mr. Helpful. And now that the rooms are empty he quips - "Why am I paying these people again?" BECAUSE - they can get 6 rooms done in two days - we couldn't get two rooms done in 6 days-- Mr. Handy-Helpful-I-am-working-this-weekend.

I know that there wouldn't have been quite as much whining if his statue was not in PA - but it is and I'm the one who put it there... frankly I don't think he was this grumpy when I was laid up for a month. Mom was there he was in a food coma - thanks again Ma!

No traffic mishaps today, but August is quickly coming to an end - soon those darling rugrats will be back at school and with them 60,000 more cars. I hate the first week of September.

Oh I came up with a working book title - see what you think... "Hey Honey do I have any clear underwear? And other daily musings." LOL sorry I thought it was funny - and yet some how the clear picture of a typical day in the life of me! ;-)

Quick one today, I'm off to be indoctrinated - I mean trained in the corporate methods of... something I forget what. The coffee will kick in soon and I will be bright-eyed and bushy tailed... or at least caffeinated.
