Monday has started quietly, don't disturb it! SHHHH!!!! Bubba was dropped at the bus stop without incident, traffic (bless August) was wonderful, parking on G2 was just fine, boss is here (not great but Ok) and there isn't a whole lot of looming deadlines... so why am I worried? Because it's Monday silly rabbit and something is bound to happen but for right now... enjoy the peace... chant with me now....ooohhhwwhhhaatttaaaggggoooosseeeeiiiiiaaaammmmmmmmm. :-)
Of course the big news here today is the heat, hazy hot and humid the three H's of summer in DC, and you'd think the Devil himself was moving in from the breathless news reporting this morning. Don't step outside today! Your face will melt off! But if you have to go outside, wear clothing - ah light clothing that is... drink water and don't exercise in the sun after noon. (insert DUH here)
My pampered fanny will go from AC house to AC car, to AC office, back to AC car and back into AC home... and we will be picking dinner up as I'm not turning on that stove tonight either... Spoiled - you bet. Hey, we've still got lemon cake and berries so I'm not a complete pampered princess... its not that I'm trying to reach that status... I just haven't gotten there yet.
I'll update if the other flip flop falls... for now shhhhhhh
