Ok so it's Monday, but I feel pretty wearing my new sundress, thank you JC Penny and your on line coupons. We live for the discount, and now is probably a good time to buy new clothes, interviews coming and the potential for lack of paychecks....
So what a difference 10 minutes make, no bus chasing, no doors slamming, just pull into the parking lot, drop him off and away I go to another productive day at work (ignore the snort). Days should start without drama. I felt bad that Shelby was very needy puppy this morning, she wanted to be next to me or Bubba all morning, it's hard to put her in the crate with those eyes staring at you... then then you pull the treat out of your pocket the drool starts and she's forgotten all about your leaving...ah to be Shelby.
I have to ask -- is my hubby is the only person on the good green earth who researches a purchase after it's made... my new tires. This has been a major bone of contention between the two of us, the guy said they were needed, hubby said no, he wasn't here I thought it was a decent deal so I bought them. It's my car dangit 50 miles a day on them!! Anywho... Sunday he's on the computer and he's shouting over the TV to tell me per tire how much I overspent... it's a good thing there was a wall between us. And never you mind what I mumbled or might have gestured... "it was more of a gesture really"
The outcome of that mess is that I will never - ever - never - ever again do anything for my car... it's up to the hubster... stay tuned in 6 months I will write of having to call a tow truck on the Washington DC beltway because this that or the other has fallen off my car and he didn't tend to it... there will be news stories of a disturbance in the force on that day. Trust me-- me and car repairs are not good friends. Car, put in gas, turn key and go. I want simple.
Ok so I got a call from a recruiter Friday when I was basking in the glow of working from home... can't hurt to call and see what's up. More later unless this proves to be the usual Monday.
